Baltimore City Engineering Alliance Engineering Design & Development Course (BCEA EDD) Symposium is the showcase for Senior High School capstone projects in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) program.

We are seeking volunteers familiar with the engineering design process to evaluate student presentations and posters from Baltimore City Engineering and Computer Science students. We anticipate approximately 100 students, many working in groups.

Project Lead the Way Engineering is a nationwide program that offers a rigorous curriculum in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This program is currently implemented across eight high schools in Baltimore City.

This year marks our 13th annual EDD Symposium where students present their capstone projects. As an evaluator, you will be provided with a rubric to assess both the process and the product of each student team.  Lunch and a small gift will be provided.
