. LET'S TALK IAS 3.0-SESSION 1 .

For the third edition of “Let’s Talk IAS” we decided to break the routine and think globally. As a Chapter, we wanted to go beyond a traditional orientation and truly highlight the international reach of the IEEE Industry Applications Society.

To make that happen, we connected Region 8 and Region 9 by inviting a guest speaker from across the Atlantic. This cross-regional collaboration gave our members a clearer view of how IAS works on a global scale.

The session focused not just on what IAS is, but on why it matters. We highlighted the benefits, grants, technical resources, and career opportunities available to members who know how to take advantage of them. The content was designed to help new members get started, active members grow, and experienced members stay motivated. In the end, Let’s Talk IAS 3.0-Session 1 wasn’t just a meeting, it was a practical roadmap to help our members make the most of their IEEE journey.
