Event Title: IEEE PES Day 2026 Celebration

Organised by: IEEE ENIT SB, IEEE ENSIT SB, IEEE FST SB (IAS/IES/PES Joint Chapters)

Objective:
To celebrate IEEE PES Day by promoting innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in the power and energy field, while connecting students across Tunisia and inspiring future engineers.

2. Attendance

Number of participants:  30 participants

3. Description of Activities

Opening:
The event began with participant check-in, followed by an opening ceremony introducing PES Day and its importance in advancing power and energy innovation.

Main Activities:

  • PES Panel Discussion: Featured speakers sharing real-life experiences in engineering, IEEE involvement, and career development.

  • Women in Power Keynote: Delivered by Ms Eya Zrigui, highlighting the role of women in shaping the future of engineering and technology.

  • Poster Challenge: Participants showcased innovative ideas and projects related to power and energy.

Interactive Segments:

  • Networking between students from different universities

  • Q&A sessions during panel and keynote

  • Informal exchanges during the coffee break

Closing :
The event concluded with a closing ceremony summarising key insights, celebrating participation, and reinforcing the importance of collaboration and leadership in the energy sector.

Ms. Nour Dinari is an Industrial and Logistics Systems Engineering student at ENICarthage, actively engaged in the IEEE community. She currently serves as the IEEE PES Tunisia Chapter SBCs Coordinator and has previously held key leadership roles, including Vice-Chair of the IEEE ENICarthage Student Branch and Treasurer of the IEEE ENICarthage PES SBC. Passionate about energy, leadership, and student development, she is dedicated to empowering future engineers through impactful initiatives and collaboration.
