ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: PREPARING YOUNG MINDS FOR INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0
The STEM activity will be organized by Microwave Research Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA.
The program aims to expose lower secondary students to applications of artificial intelligence in smart
systems. This project will involve ten selected students from Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Pengkalan
Hulu. The scope of the workshop focuses on data acquisition protocols, image processing and
machine learning fundamentals. Students will then have real experience in developing smart systems
through the Capstone Project approach. At the end of the program, students will have a backbone
system that can be refined for participation in innovation competitions. The effectiveness of the
program is then assessed through student participations in exhibitions and conferences. The program
is proposed to be co-organized with IEEE AP/MTT/EMC, EduSoc, IE/IA, EMBS, and CSS Malaysia
Chapters.
