The Italian Conference on Optics and Photonics (ICOP 2026) invites researchers, professionals, and students to submit abstracts and participate in one of the leading scientific events in the field of Optics and Photonics.

ICOP aims to bring together researchers from Italy and around the world, fostering networking opportunities and the exchange of recent research developments within a stimulating, multidisciplinary forum. The conference is designed to establish itself as a high-level meeting point for both fundamental and applied research across a broad range of photonics-related disciplines.

The scientific program will cover key areas including, but not limited to Nano and Quantum Sciences, Optical Communication Systems, Optical Imaging and Sensing, Laser and Nonlinear Optics, Applications of Photonic Technology and new Emerging Topics.

The conference program will feature invited lectures, oral and poster sessions, and workshops, offering ample opportunities for scientific discussion and collaboration.

Authors are invited to submit their abstract by email to:

papers@icop2026.it

Please include the tag [Abstract] in the subject line of your email.


What You Will Need to Submit

A one-page PDF document containing:

  • Title

  • Author(s) information (please underline the presenting author)

  • Main topic selected

  • Up to 5 keywords

  • Abstract text

Note: Only original material should be submitted. Commercial papers, papers with no new research/development content, and papers with proprietary restrictions will not be accepted for presentation.


Submission Agreement

By submitting an abstract, all presenting authors agree to:

  • Register and pay the conference registration fee

  • Attend the conference in person

  • Present their contribution at the scheduled time
