Distinguished Speakers
Dr. Y. Sreenivas Rao is a distinguished scientist and Director General (Naval Systems and Materials) at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). He began his professional career at BHEL, Hyderabad, and later joined DRDO, Hyderabad in 2000.
With over 22 years of rich experience, Dr. Rao has made significant contributions to critical defence technologies, including communication systems, missile systems, and advanced warhead technologies. As the Project Director for Exo-Interceptor Missile Systems, he led the development of state-of-the-art “hit-to-kill” interceptor missile systems.
He played a pivotal role in Mission Shakti, which culminated in the successful development of an Interceptor Vehicle, marking a major milestone in India’s strategic defence capabilities.
Dr. Rao is a Fellow of the Aeronautical Society of India and has received several prestigious honors, including the Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya Award as an Eminent Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (India), Telangana State Centre.
Presently, he is serving as the Director – Research and Consultancy at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET).
Sri. K. Srinivasa Raju is the Chief Executive Officer of Unistring Tech Solutions (UTS), a subsidiary of ZEN Technologies, driving innovation in Electronic Warfare (EW) and Anti-Drone Systems. An alumnus of IISc Bangalore and NIT Warangal, he brings deep technical and strategic expertise to the defense technology domain.
He previously served as a Scientist at DLRL–DRDO (2003–2014), where he played a significant role in the development of advanced Electronic Warfare systems. At UTS, he leads Research & Development, DSP, VLSI, and HR & Training, contributing to the creation of world-class indigenous defense solutions.
Mr. Raju holds two patents and has multiple technical publications in the areas of Electronic Warfare and RADAR systems.
Sri. Murali Mohan Gade is a Senior Scientist and Division Head at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), DRDO, with over 22 years of experience in missile systems design, guidance, control, and simulation. An alumnus of NIT Warangal and IIT Bombay, he has been a key contributor to major national defense projects including AKASH, QRSAM, and NASM-MR missile systems.
He is a recipient of several prestigious honors, including the DRDO Agni Award and the Path Breaking Research Award, and has been recognized as a Distinguished Young Alumnus by NIT Warangal.
Mr. Nilang Trivedi is a Scientist ‘G’ at Research Centre Imarat (RCI), DRDO), with extensive experience in advanced missile systems, guidance, navigation, and control technologies. He has played a key role in the development of cutting-edge strategic defense systems and has been actively involved in national-level missile programs.
