The IEEE JEC WIE Affinity Group and PES Society successfully organized a heartwarming Children’s Day celebration titled “Joyniverse – A World Full of Happiness” on 14th November 2025 at the Anaikkum Karangal Orphanage located in Kaiveli, Madipakkam, Chennai. The event was planned with the sole purpose of spreading joy, celebrating innocence, and creating memorable moments with the children.
The program began with a warm welcome to the children, followed by engaging interactions that instantly created a cheerful atmosphere. The WIE members conducted a series of fun and interactive games that brought out the children's enthusiasm and excitement. Activities such as team games, creative challenges, and quick interactive rounds helped the children showcase their talents and enjoy the day to the fullest. Their laughter, energy, and active participation filled the venue with happiness.
Apart from games, the volunteers spent quality time speaking with the children, encouraging them, and making them feel valued and appreciated. The highlight of the event was the distribution of snacks and treats. The children happily received them, and the gesture helped create a warm, caring, and festive spirit. This moment truly reflected the theme of the event – a world full of happiness.
The celebration beautifully captured the essence of Children’s Day by reminding everyone of the importance of love, care, and togetherness. The WIE Affinity Group members concluded the event with heartfelt smiles, cherishing the time spent with the children and reflecting on the joy they shared.
