David Strahanoski and Henry Friedman of Appleton will provide a presentation on hazardous location electrical devices and fittings, with their corresponding requirements, applications, and best practices.
Hazardous location installations are among the most critical areas for compliance, mandated in both OSHA and the NEC.
Despite the criticality, there is still widespread confusion regarding the appropriate practices and proper applications for compliant installations.
The presentation will cover code requirements and best practices for specification/installation.

David Strahanoski of Appleton
Biography:
David Strahanoski is the lead Technical Support director for Appleton. He started his career as a journeyman electrician and has transitioned into the tech support role over a decade ago. He is a wealth of knowledge across Appleton's hazardous, industrial, and commercial ECM product portfolio.
Henry Friedman
Henry Friedman is the local Chicagoland Appleton sales manager. He supports a wide variety of industries such as refineries, water treatment facilities, and industrial plants. Recently he celebrated 33 years with Appleton, and is also a wealth of knowledge with hazardous fittings and their applications.
