The Role of Physical Design Engineer in VLSI Design
The IEEE WIE Society, in collaboration with the Department of ECE, RGMCET, Nandyal, organized an expert talk titled “The Role of Physical Design Engineer in VLSI Design” on 10-12-2025. The program was conducted for II and III year B.Tech (ECE) students to enhance industry-oriented knowledge. The session highlighted the importance of physical design in the VLSI design flow. The resource person explained real-time challenges and career opportunities in the VLSI domain. Students gained insights into layout design, timing, and chip optimization concepts. The talk effectively bridged the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Participants actively interacted and clarified their technical doubts. Overall, the event was informative, engaging, and highly beneficial to the students
