Section Meeting for Conferences Sponsorship (Twelfth meeting 2025)
The IEEE Algeria Section regularly organizes a periodical technical coordination meeting with the participation of representatives from concerned local chapter. This meeting serves as an official platform for discussion, evaluation, and approval of requests for technical co-sponsorship and financial support submitted by chapters and affiliated organizational units.
Held monthly on the last day of each month, the meeting brings together Section officers and designated chapter representatives to review proposed activities, ensure alignment with IEEE policies and strategic objectives, and promote coordination and transparency among the various units.
Each meeting has a duration of approximately two hours, during which submitted proposals are examined, feedback is provided, and decisions are made regarding endorsement, support, or required revisions. The meeting also provides an opportunity to share updates on ongoing activities, address operational challenges, and strengthen collaboration between the IEEE Algeria Section and its chapters related to the sponsorship of conferences.
This periodic meeting plays a key role in ensuring effective governance, fostering high-quality technical activities, and supporting the sustainable development of IEEE initiatives within the Algeria Section related to the sponsorship of conferences and eventual workshops.
