A Capacitação Mulheres na Indústria foi um evento realizado pelo IEEE WIE UFBA em parceria com a IEEE PES Nordeste Brasil, com foco na formação técnica de mulheres para atuação no setor industrial. Por meio de cursos, oficinas e treinamentos, a iniciativa incentivou o protagonismo feminino e o desenvolvimento profissional.

Às 18h30, ocorreu a palestra “O Futuro da Indústria da Saúde: Quando Engenharia e Medicina Caminham Juntas”, ministrada por Ianca, com patrocínio diamante da IEEE IAS. A apresentação destacou a integração entre engenharia e medicina no desenvolvimento de tecnologias para a área da saúde, abordando inovações, desafios e a importância da atuação multidisciplinar para o avanço do setor.

The Women in Industry Training Program was an event held by IEEE WIE UFBA in partnership with IEEE PES Northeast Brazil, focusing on technical training for women working in the industrial sector. Through courses, workshops, and training sessions, the initiative encouraged female leadership and professional development.

At 6:30 p.m., Ianca gave a lecture entitled “The Future of the Healthcare Industry: When Engineering and Medicine Go Hand in Hand,” sponsored by IEEE IAS. The presentation highlighted the integration between engineering and medicine in the development of technologies for the healthcare sector, addressing innovations, challenges, and the importance of multidisciplinary work for the advancement of the sector.
