Humanoid Robots – Expectations and Challenges
Although the research in the field of humanoid robotics began half a century ago, it is only in the last decade that its results have begun to make a significant impact on various areas of life. This is reflected in the global increase in investment in humanoid robotics, which is accelerating expectations and challenges regarding the versatile applicability of this technology, especially in terms of interactions between humanoid robots and humans. The aim of this seminar lecture is to provide the state-of-the-art in this field and to highlight the interactions between humans and humanoid robots through selected case studies.
