Cloud computing provides access to seemingly endless computing power available anytime and anywhere. Hundreds of cloud-native tools and approaches have been developed for these needs, facilitating management, application deployment, and monitoring. Edge computing, on the other hand, faces challenges such as limited computing power, limited cooling, power outages, and Internet connectivity. The seminar will focus on the use of cloud-native tools and approaches to address these challenges. The use of such tools provides an easier transition from the cloud to the edge for developers and simplifies the subsequent management and monitoring of these devices and applications.
