Nicholas Colonna will review the basics from the creation to trading of securitized products.  These products are the lattice that enable banks to lend to consumers in order to purchase households, automobiles, and other products.  They are used in investment management by asset managers, financial institutions, insurance companies, and hedge funds.  They played a pivotal role in the Great Financial Crisis and are continued to be used today.  

Also a current overview of generation providers for AI and an overview of key defense contractors.

Biography
Nicholas Colonna, CFA
Chief Executive Officer Nicholas is an experienced financial professional currently offering investment management services at Lime Rock Investment Management Company, Inc., LRIMCO. He is an analytical fixed income trader and risk professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in trading, risk management, and stress testing.


Nicholas has earned the right to use The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.


Prior to LRIMCO, Nicholas was a Senior Fixed Income Trader at USAA Investments (later acquired by Victory Capital) to help manage over $160 billion in assets. He specialized in trading securitized products such as MBS, CMBS, ABS, and CLOs. He also traded interest rate products and corporate bonds. Before moving to San Antonio, he started his career in New York City working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch pricing credit derivatives. He has a
BBA in Finance from Pace University. He currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with his wife and four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, golfing, skiing and watching sports in his spare time.
