In Denise's current role, she wears many hats varying from power electronics engineer, technical project leader, and technology strategist. Biography:
Denise Athaide is a Sr Tech Specialist in Power Electronics, Hybrid and Electrification Tech in Corporate Research at Cummins Inc. She has been there since 2020 in addition to an internship while a student. Prior to Cummins she spent time working with the US Department of Energy supporting the review of funding applications and working with the GreenLight Solutions Foundation.
Denise holds a MS in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Power and Energy Systems from Arizona State University in addition to a BS in Electrical Engineering from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology. Throughout her time as a student she was also an active IEEE member.
