Biography:
Mr. Girish Gupta is a senior pharmaceutical supply chain leader with over 19 years of experience spanning manufacturing, global supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and last-mile delivery within highly regulated healthcare environments. His career encompasses leadership roles across major multinational pharmaceutical organizations in the United States and internationally, where he has been responsible for end-to-end supply chains supporting prescription, OTC, biologic, injectable, and controlled-substance products.
Throughout his career, Mr. Gupta has demonstrated sustained impact in optimizing complex supply chain networks, managing large procurement budgets, and ensuring uninterrupted access to critical medicines. His leadership has delivered measurable outcomes, including significant cost savings, revenue growth, improved service levels, supplier risk mitigation, and successful regulatory compliance across FDA-approved operations. He has led multi-site manufacturing and distribution networks, supported new product introductions, managed cold-chain and temperature-sensitive logistics, and partnered cross-functionally to align supply chain strategy with commercial and patient-centric objectives.
Mr. Gupta is recognized as a subject-matter expert in pharmaceutical last-mile delivery, supply chain resilience, and regulatory-compliant logistics. He has been invited to speak at major global supply chain conferences and served as a panelist alongside senior executives from the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), Walmart, leading pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions. His thought leadership addresses emerging challenges and opportunities in healthcare logistics, including digital integration, sustainability, automation, healthcare access, and the convergence of supply chains with telemedicine and patient experience.
In addition to industry recognition, Mr. Gupta’s work has been featured in international business and technology publications and cited in professional and scholarly contexts, further validating his influence beyond organizational boundaries.
