Microgrids & Storage Systems for Sustainable Healthcare
Pillar II of the Uganda National Health Compact (2025–2030) focuses on strengthening the country’s health service capacity to ensure equitable access to quality, people‑centered care. It emphasizes building and upgrading health facilities, ensuring reliable power and clean water, expanding internet connectivity, modern diagnostics, resilient supply chains, and climate‑smart infrastructure to serve even the most underserved regions.
Against that background, our webinar on Microgrids & Storage Systems for Sustainable Healthcare is a timely discussion given that reliable, sustainable energy is the backbone of these goals; microgrids directly enable functional hospitals and health centers, power laboratories and vaccine cold chains, support digital health systems, and reduce service disruptions. In essence, our theme provides a practical solution to the Compact’s call for resilient infrastructure and service readiness under Pillar II.
