You’re invited to a chill R5 Conference Volunteer Kick-Off hangout to meet the crew, talk about volunteering, and plug into the 2026 IEEE GreenTech + Region 5 Congress scene in Boulder.​

What we’ll do

• Meet the organizing team and other volunteers, no pressure, just hanging out and chatting.​  Break down what “supporting the 2026 IEEE Green Technologies Conference and R5 Congress / Student Competitions” actually looks like, from building the robot challenge course to helping people find their way.​

• Walk through the March conference timeline and how volunteers plug into each part.​

• Talk about different roles so you can find something that fits your skills, schedule, and vibe.​

• Use it to: Get updates, ask quick questions, coordinate shifts, and stay synced whether you’re in Boulder or remote.​

How to join

• In person: Show up at 2:00 pm at the hotel that will host the conference in March, hang out, ask questions, and meet people face to face.​

• Online: Join the Discord server ahead of time, then hop into the event voice/text channel at 2:00 pm and be part of everything virtually.

• Be part of the team running the 2026 IEEE GreenTech and Region 5 Congress in Boulder, March 27–29, 2026.​
