IEEE Social Visit
The purpose of our visit to Shri Haribhau Balavantharao Girme Vidyalaya was to introduce the students to the exciting world of technology. We wanted to make subjects like cybersecurity, website development, and artificial intelligence feel approachable and fun, not intimidating. Through engaging activities and quizzes, our goal was to ignite a passion for these fields and show the kids that they have the power to create and innovate in the digital age. This outreach was all about planting seeds of curiosity that we hope will grow into a lifelong interest in technology.
The outcomes of the event were a notable increase in the digital literacy of the students, who gained a foundational understanding of cybersecurity, web development, and AI. This engagement not only sparked their interest in STEM fields but also provided our IEEE Student Branch members with valuable community engagement, leadership, and teaching experience, ultimately strengthening our team and social impact.
