Emerging Technologies in Power Electronics
Biography:
Dr. Armen Baronian is a distinguished leader in aerospace electrification and high-efficiency power conversion technologies. With over three decades of experience, he currently serves as the Director of Advanced Technology & Innovation at Eaton Aerospace, leading initiatives in hybrid/electric propulsion, digitalisation, IoT, and next-generation aircraft systems.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and serves as an Adjunct Professor at McMaster University. Dr. Armen is an IEEE Senior Member and contributes to several global technical committees, including SAE E‑40, the Vertical Flight Society, and Hydrogen Europe. He has authored numerous technical papers and holds 10+ U.S. patents in power electronics, thermal management, and electric propulsion.
