Biography:
Mr.Yogarajah Achchuthan is an experienced IT professional and educator currently serving as an Instructor in Computer Technology at the University of Jaffna. With over eight years in academia and industry, his career began as a Trainee Software Engineer at 99X Technology. He later served as a Lecturer and Head of the ICT Department at the Sri Lanka-German Training Institute, before joining the University of Jaffna full-time in 2020.
He has spearheaded multiple impactful projects, including the MaCoSIS student information system, an e-learning platform using Moodle, and the OCPA public service mobile application for the Ministry of Health. His technical expertise spans software development, system administration, and project management, supported by certifications in mobile app development and multimedia production.
A proactive contributor to the tech community, Yogarajah previously led the University of Jaffna Computer Society and remains engaged in initiatives such as IEEE workshops. He is recognized as a dedicated mentor who bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world application, inspiring students through hands-on learning and innovation.
