Giuliana of Plug Power

Topic:

Recent RIT Graduate

Giuliana Lincoln, RIT BS Chemical Engineering, 2024

Biography:

Giuliana, from Brockport NY, is a graduate of RIT’s chemical engineering program. Drawn to problem solving through science and math, she decided to pursue engineering at RIT. She chose RIT for its personable faculty and staff and world renown co-op program. During her time at RIT, Giuliana completed two co-ops and an internship. Her co-ops were with the Army Research Labs (ARL) through RIT as a researcher of novel thin film coatings and as a development process engineer for contact lenses at Bausch and Lomb. Her desire to apply her coating knowledge, learned while on co-op and through her chemical engineering coursework, in an industry setting led her to an internship as a process engineer in ink and coating at Plug Power. Upon graduating in 2024, Giuliana accepted a full time role at Plug Power as an ink and coating process engineer, where she continues learning and applying her knowledge while contributing to innovative projects. She always enjoys sharing her journey with fellow RIT Tigers.
