There will be a IEEE CEDA Conclave (Talk by Industry Experts) on Friday, 7 February 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Annual General Meeting 2026 will start after the Industry Conclave.

Meeting Minutes:
Secretary's Report for 2025
Mr. Subhra Prakash Giri presented the Secretary’s Report summarizing the chapter’s activities during 2025. The report was formally proposed by Dr. Javed G. S. and seconded by Dr. Sarfraz Hussain. After addressing all queries raised by members, the Secretary’s Report was unanimously approved.

During the year 2025, the IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter conducted:

Major highlights included IEEE Project Expo 2025 (400+ students), Smart EcoSign 2025 (42 teams), Ideathon 2025 (80+ teams), IEEE Mini Project Symposium (90 teams), multiple EDA tool workshops with Altium and Keysight, Distinguished Lecture Series, and Design Thinking workshops. Membership increased significantly from 1,098 (Jan 2025) to 3,040 (Jan 2026).

Financial Report
Dr. Shashidhara H. R., Treasurer, could not attend due to a medical emergency. In his absence, Secretary Mr. Subhra Prakash Giri presented the summarized financial report. Queries raised by members were addressed by Dr. Parameshachari B. D., Chair (2025).
The IEEE Bangalore Section Treasurer, Ms. Ashwini Appaji, confirmed the Opening Balance for the year 2026 as INR 4.63 Lakhs.
Announcement of 2026 Executive Committee
Following the approval of reports, Mr. Aloke Das announced the official slate of office bearers and Executive Committee members for the year 2026. The team details are available at:

Vote of Thanks
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Jalaja S., who expressed gratitude to all office bearers, ExeCom members, presenters, volunteers, and participants for their valuable contributions during 2025 and extended best wishes to the 2026 team.

With no further business to discuss, the Chair formally declared the IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter Annual General Meeting 2026 closed.
