Women’s Health Awareness & Support Initiative
The Women’s Health Awareness & Support Initiative will be conducted as a comprehensive health awareness and medical support program for female students and faculty members. The activity will be organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sanjiv Kumar, Counselor, IEEE Student Branch and Faculty Advisor, IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group, HBTU Kanpur.
The program will aim to promote a healthier, informed, and more mindful approach to women’s health by addressing key dimensions of well-being. The sessions will focus on physical health, mental wellness, nutrition, and preventive healthcare practices. Medical professionals and subject experts will share practical insights, real-life guidance, and actionable health strategies that participants can easily understand and apply in daily life.
A safe, inclusive, and comfortable environment will be ensured to encourage interaction, open discussions, and experience sharing. The initiative will also include a dedicated health check-up camp providing essential medical screenings such as blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, BMI evaluation, anemia screening, and gynecological consultations conducted by qualified doctors.
The activity will conclude with an open discussion and networking session, enabling participants to engage directly with experts and peers while reinforcing awareness and long-term health consciousness.
