STEM OUTREACH AT MOI UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL
The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Moi University Student Branch Chapter in partnership with WAAW Foundation Moi University Chapter will conduct a STEM outreach program at Moi University High School aimed at inspiring secondary school students to pursue careers in STEM.
The outreach will involve interactive sessions introducing students to engineering and technology disciplines, career pathways in STEM and the importance of innovation and problem-solving in addressing real-world challenges. IEEE members will engage students through mentorship discussions, practical demonstrations and career guidance, with a focus on encouraging girls to explore STEM fields.
This initiative aligns with IEEE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity and promoting diversity and inclusion within engineering and technology careers.
