This session aims to support university students, recent graduates and young professionals in understanding how to successfully secure internships and industrial attachments while gaining practical insight into industry expectations.

An invited industry professional will share real-life experiences, strategies and practical guidance on navigating the internship search process, preparing competitive applications and translating academic projects into professional competencies.

Securing meaningful industrial attachment is a critical academic and career milestone for Moi University students. The process of identifying opportunities, preparing applications, and understanding workplace expectations can be challenging. This webinar seeks to bridge that gap by connecting students with industry professionals and equipping them with actionable career preparation skills.

Introduction to IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) and the Moi University Student Branch, followed by a keynote session by Eng. Miriam Onyango on securing industrial attachment and internships, understanding industry expectations and building career readiness. The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A and closing remarks.
