Hospital Visit
The IEEE EMBS Student Chapter is organizing a technical visit to the Radiology Department to provide students with practical exposure to medical imaging technologies and their applications in modern healthcare.
The objective of this visit is to help students understand the working principles and clinical applications of various diagnostic imaging systems such as X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and Ultrasound. Participants will have the opportunity to observe the operation of these systems and learn about image acquisition, safety measures, radiation protection, and equipment maintenance practices.
Students will also interact with radiology professionals and technical staff to gain insights into the role of biomedical engineering in medical imaging and the importance of technology in accurate diagnosis and patient care.
This visit aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world implementation while encouraging students to explore opportunities in the field of medical imaging and healthcare technology.
