IWD 2026: Give to Gain - Girls in STEM Outreach Program
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) University of Eldoret Student Branch Affinity Group will be visiting a local girls’ high school under the theme “Give to Gain.”
Through this outreach, we aim to inspire and encourage young girls to dream boldly and explore opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our members will share their academic journeys, lessons learned and real experiences in engineering and technology.
We believe that when we give our time, knowledge, and mentorship, we gain growth, impact, and a stronger generation of future women leaders in STEM. This visit is not just about speaking; it’s about connecting, uplifting, and building confidence.
