WOMEN WHO BUILD THE FUTURE
The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group at Yarmouk University is organizing the conference “Women Who Build the Future”, a professional and community-oriented event celebrating International Women’s Day, Mother’s Day, and the anniversary of the Battle of Karameh.
The conference aims to highlight the role of Jordanian women, particularly in engineering and technology, in shaping society and contributing to national development. The event will bring together students, academics, and industry professionals through keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and career-oriented workshops designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.
The program will also provide networking opportunities, encourage student engagement and volunteerism, and promote dialogue around career readiness, leadership, and innovation in engineering fields. The conference reflects IEEE WIE’s mission to support, inspire, and empower women in engineering while fostering professional growth and community impact.
