Treasurer's Report - we have a balance of @$3.3K.

 

Action items:

1. Karl & Maureen reviewed Treasurer role with Mickey - ongoing and thru Mar 2026.

2. Maureen to let IEEE Central know that Mickey needs NextGen access.
3. Larry to set up skeletal meeting notice for Beeb's April 22 meeting in vTools
4. Karl to reserve room at Beeb's April 22 
5. Maureen and Mickey to send out a notice looking for speakers for April 22

 

vTools: Larry to file these brief notes for our meeting in vTools with meeting update so that we're on the record for these meetings.

 

Chapter Meeting ideas: 

1. Plan for April - Mickey let us know that the idea we had for a speaker won't work.
2. Should we consider a field trip?  Member Paul Westling sent this recommendation right after Thursday's meeting:  We have a special resource here in the Bay Area that might be quite interesting to “old timers” who are IEEE Life Members –in Alameda, the California Historical Radio Society/Museum (CHRS -- https://californiahistoricalradio.com) has lots of vintage gear (both broadcast and ham) on display, and an active set of lecturers; it also runs the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame (in parallel to SVEC’s Silicon Valley Hall of Fame). He suggested the possibility of an "on site" meeting there. Mickey is checking this out.
