IEEE Sairam Student Branch, in association with Sairam Engineering College – Institute of Technology, organized the IEEE Foundation Day Celebration 2026 on 16th February 2026 at VRR Hall. The event commemorated the founding of IEEE and highlighted its global impact on technology and innovation. Shri T.S. Rangarajan, Chair – IEEE LMAG (2024–2025), Madras Section, and Former Chairman – IEEE Madras Section (2012–14), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and addressed the gathering, inspiring students and faculty members about professional growth and IEEE involvement.
