MODEL CONTEXT PROTOCOL – An AI Hands-on Workshop
The “Model Context Protocol – An AI Hands-on Workshop”, organized
by the IEEE Computer Society and the Department of Information
Technology, Sri Sairam Engineering College, as part of AI Impact
Summit 2026, was conducted on 29th January 2026 at Steve Jobs
Hall.
The workshop was delivered by Mr. Rutharan Raghavan, CEO and
Chief AI Scientist, Here and Now AI, who provided in-depth
knowledge on AI model workflows, context management, and
real-time AI implementation strategies. The session included live
demonstrations, hands-on coding exercises, and interactive
discussions, enabling participants to gain strong practical exposure.
Students actively participated in hands-on tasks, collaborative
problem-solving, and technical discussions. The workshop successfully
bridged the gap between theoretical AI concepts and real-world
applications, inspiring students to explore advanced AI technologies
and innovation.
