Advancing Quantum Biophotonics for Label-Free, Real-Time Cell Fate and Neural Activity Monitoring in Humans
Biography:
I am a biophysicist exploring the frontiers of tissue plasticity and patterning. As a Canada Research Chair and Assistant Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University, I lead an interdisciplinary lab integrating neuroscience, regenerative medicine, and cancer biology through a biophysical lens. Our research focuses on how physical signals—bioelectric, optical, and electromagnetic—shape tissue organization, function, and disease progression. By combining advanced techniques in tissue engineering, biophysics, and quantum mechanics, we aim to develop transformative technologies that enhance our understanding of health and disease.
