We are organizing a “Newbies Welcome” program to warmly introduce new students to IEEE and its student activities. The goal is to help newcomers understand what IEEE is, what opportunities are available, and how they can benefit from being active members.

Purpose

  • Give new students a friendly introduction to IEEE

  • Explain the benefits of membership (learning, networking, leadership)

  • Showcase past projects, events, and achievements

  • Encourage juniors to join and participate in volunteering

What the Session Includes

  • Brief introduction to IEEE 

  • Overview of committees and how to get involved

  • Sharing experiences from current volunteers

  • Interactive session / Q&A to clarify doubts

Expected Outcome

  • Increased awareness among new students

  • Higher membership and volunteer participation

  • Stronger connection between juniors and the student branch
