We are planning an environmental service project at Sri Pada to promote environmental responsibility and community service among student volunteers of IEEE.

Purpose

  • Protect the natural environment of Sri Pada

  • Raise awareness about responsible pilgrimage and waste management

  • Encourage students to engage in meaningful volunteer work

  • Promote teamwork and social responsibility

Planned Activities

  • Collecting and properly disposing of waste along selected paths

  • Educating pilgrims on maintaining cleanliness

  • Coordinating with local authorities for waste handling

  • Promoting the initiative through awareness campaigns

Expected Outcomes

  • Cleaner and safer environment for visitors

  • Increased environmental awareness among students and the public

  • Stronger volunteer engagement and community impact
