STEAM Science Mela
A one-day STEAM Science Mela at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), H-12 Campus, Islamabad on 6th December 2025. The event was designed to promote curiosity, innovation, and hands-on learning in modern STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) domains. A diverse range of activities was arranged, covering robotics, natural language processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, game programming, and creative arts-based engagements. Specially designed interactive activities were also developed to ensure meaningful participation for younger children.
The event proudly hosted 310 participants from various community-based schools. We were especially honored to welcome children with visual impairments, physical disabilities, health conditions, and those from humble financial backgrounds. The inclusive environment ensured that every child could actively engage, explore technology, creativity, and experience the excitement of scientific discovery. The enthusiasm and joy observed throughout the day reflected the success of the initiative.
