This outreach workshop aims to introduce school students to Internet of Things (IoT) concepts through fun, hands-on activities. The event focuses on promoting STEM education, inspiring young learners, and increasing the visibility of IEEE outreach initiatives in the community.

  • What is IoT? (simple examples)

  • Live demo (sensor → LED/buzzer)

09:40 – 11:30 | Hands-on IoT Workshop (Session 1)

  • Group formation

  • Guided build: connect a sensor to a microcontroller

  • Support by IEEE student volunteers

11:45 – 12:45 | Hands-on IoT Workshop (Session 2)

  • Extend the project (add another sensor / simple logic)

  • Troubleshooting & experimentation
