Event Objectives

The hackathon aims to challenge students to design innovative, technology-driven solutions to real-world sustainability problems. Participants will work in teams to develop practical prototypes and concepts using smart systems and AI for social good, fostering creativity, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Description of the Proposed Event

The Hackathon – Tech for Sustainability will bring together multidisciplinary student teams to ideate and prototype solutions addressing sustainability challenges such as energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, smart mobility, and community well-being. Participants will receive problem statements aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and will be mentored by faculty members and industry professionals. The event will culminate in project pitches and judging based on innovation, feasibility, impact, and technical execution.
