An Introduction to DSATools

Join us for an introductory session on DSATools, a powerful software suite used for power system stability and dynamic security assessment. This session will provide an overview of how DSATools supports the analysis of grid performance under disturbances and operating contingencies.

The event will begin with a brief introduction, followed by a walkthrough of Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA) concepts and their role in modern power system operations. We will then explore key applications and features of DSATools, including stability analysis and simulation capabilities. A live demonstration will showcase practical use cases, and the session will conclude with an open Q&A.

This event is ideal for students interested in power systems, grid stability, protection and control, and utility operations. No prior experience with DSATools is required.
