Women in Engineering Coffee Talk – IEEE WIE Université Paris-Saclay
Join us for our first Women in Engineering (WIE) Coffee Talk as the newly created IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group at Université Paris-Saclay! 🎉 This friendly meet-up is open to all students and young researchers, of all genders, who are interested in diversity, inclusion, and women’s experiences in engineering and technology.
Around a coffee, we’ll talk about:
-
What it means to be a woman in engineering today
-
Challenges and opportunities in STEM studies and careers
-
How we can build a more inclusive and supportive local IEEE community
For this special edition, we will also host speakers from the IEEE France Section WIE Affinity Group, who will share their journeys, insights, and advice on leadership, career paths, and empowering women in engineering across France.
This Coffee Talk is the perfect moment to:
-
Discover the new WIE Université Paris-Saclay Affinity Group and its mission
-
Network with peers and role models
-
Share your ideas for future events: mentoring, workshops, outreach, panel talks, and more
Come as you are, bring your questions, your ideas, and your curiosity together, we’ll co-create the next steps for WIE at Université Paris-Saclay and contribute to a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive engineering community.
