Invento-Expo: Showcasing Innovations Across Technical Colleges

A Joint Initiative by IEEE AP-S Student Chapter IIIT-BBSR & TARS

Invento-Expo is a premier innovation and project exhibition designed to showcase impactful student-led technical solutions from ITI, Diploma, B.Tech, and other technical institutions.

Objective

• Promote innovation and practical problem-solving

• Encourage industry–academia collaboration

• Provide exposure to students, startups, and innovators

• Create opportunities for funding, mentorship, and partnerships

Eligibility

• Students from ITI, Diploma, B.Tech, and other technical backgrounds

• Tech-based startups founded by students

• Teams consisting of 2 to 4 members

Project Requirements

• Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or working prototype is mandatory

• Hardware projects

• Applied software solutions

• Tech-driven startup ideas

• Projects with real-world implementation and impact

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on PPT submission including:

   - Problem statement

   - Proposed solution

   - Technical approach

   - Implementation details

   - Impact and scalability

• Product demonstration video (optional but highly recommended)

Exhibition Details

• Selected teams will receive stall space for two days

• Fixed presentation/demo hours will be allotted each day

• Teams must be present throughout the event

• Interaction opportunities with industry professionals, academicians, government officials, investors, and tech enthusiasts

• Detailed instructions will be shared after project selection

Judging Criteria

• Innovation and uniqueness

• Practical relevance and real-world impact

• Technical feasibility and execution quality

• Presentation and demonstration effectiveness

• Decision of the Official Judging Authority will be final and binding

• Grand Prize worth ₹30,000
