Prof. T. Kishore Kumar of NIT WARANGAL

This talk will explore recent advancements in nano-sensors and biosensors, focusing on their design, fabrication techniques, performance enhancement, and integration into smart sensing systems. Biography:

Dr. T. Kishore Kumar is currently Professor in the Department of ECE, NIT Warangal, AICTE 
Distinguished Professional and Head Bajaj Engineering Skill Training (BEST), NIT Warangal.  
 He obtained Ph.D. degree in the area of signal processing in the year 2004. 
 Dr. T. Kishore Kumar Headed the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, 
NIT Warangal from 2015 to 2017. He was also the head of the Institute Computer Center, 
NIT Warangal from 2018 to 2020, Head CTL from July 2023 to June 2025 and programme 
coordinator UGC MMTTC, NIT Warangal from January 2024 to June 2025.  
 He was a Visiting Professor for ESIGELEC university in France during 2009, Visiting 
Professor TALLINN University, Estonia for a semester for Ms Computer science and 
visiting Professor Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok in 2019 under Secondment of 
Indian Faculty by MHRD, Govt. of India. 
 Prior to this, he worked as Technical officer in Cabinet Secretariat, Prime Minister Office 
Government of India. 
 He is a member for Central Council Board (CCB) and member for Andhra Pradesh State 
Councilof Higher Education(APSCHE) 
 He was also a member of E & ICT Academy, NIT Warangal during 2015-17. 
 Best Researcher Award – 2024 from DevElet- Council for Skills and Competencies (CSC), in 
recognition of his outstanding research, consultancy and training inthe field of Electronics & 
Communication Engineering. 
 Best Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering-2023 from 17th Stars of the 
Industry Awards for Excellence and Leadership in Education by world sustainability. 
 He  was  awarded  “BEST  ENGINEERING  RESEARCHER  AWARD  –  2017”  “BEST 
ENGINEERING FACULTY AWARD – 2023” by NIT Warangal and NITW Alumni Association in 
recognition of his outstanding research contributions 
 He was awarded RESEARCH EXCELLENCE AWARD - 2017 by Institute forExploring 
Advances in Engineering (IEAE). 
 He was also Received “IEI NMLC-FCRIT Academic Excellence Award National Level" and 
the "IEI Research Excellence Award National Level" for the year 2023 by IEI Bombay 
Section. 
 Best Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering-2023 from 17th Stars of the 
Industry Awards for Excellence and Leadership in Education by world sustainability. 
 He received best Paper award for CNN Based Lung Cancer Prediction paper in IEEE International 
Conference on Electronic Communications, Internet of Things and Big Data held at Taiwan in the 
month of April 2024. 
 His current areas of research include “signal processing, artificial intelligence and biomedical 
signal processing”. 
 He is a member of review committee constituted by RCI, DRDO for reviewing a project of 
worth 160 crores. 
 Dr.T.Kishore Kumar, evaluating member for NBA TIER-I, II and NAAC evaluator. 
 He has Completed 5 R&D Projects funded by SERB- DST, DRDO worth of 1.5Crores, 3 
Projects of worth 1.3 Crore are ongoing. 
 Under his amiable guidance, 15 scholars have been awarded PhDs and 8 scholars are 
pursuing Ph.D under his guidance. 
 He has published 47 SCI journals and 48 international conferences during the last five years. 
 Dr. T. Kishore Kumar has travelled across many countries like Australia, Czech Republic, 
France, Israel, Singapore, Dubai, Estonia, Taiwan and Poland  that contributed to his 
academic excellence. 
 He has organized several Faculty Development programs in and outside NIT Warangal, 
coordinated MHRD initiated GIAN courses and delivered several expert talks at DRDO, 
ECIL, JNTUH andother reputed institutions across India. 
 Dr. Kishore Kumar is the senior member of IEEE, ISTE, fellow IETE and Senior Member of IACSIT.
