Where Mathematics Meets the Grid: The Science of Transmission Lines
IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) – UOW Student Chapter, Australia
Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) Event
Advancing Technology for Humanity
The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) UOW Student Chapter, Australia, is pleased to host a Distinguished Lecture under the IEEE PES Distinguished Lecturer Program titled:
“Where Mathematics Meets the Grid: The Science of Transmission Lines”
The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Dan Doru MICU from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
This talk explores the fundamental mathematical principles that govern the behavior and performance of electrical transmission lines. Participants will gain insights into how mathematical modeling supports grid design, analysis, and optimization, bridging theory with real-world power system applications.
