Choosing between software and hardware is one of the biggest questions engineering students face. Should you focus on writing code and building scalable systems, or work closer to circuits, devices, and physical technology? In modern engineering, no discipline stands alone. Understanding both the digital logic of software and the physical reality of hardware empowers you to design solutions that truly work in the real world.

To help you explore both perspectives, IEEE YP Portugal is organizing a special online webinar tailored for students who want to better understand the electronics industry and prepare for their professional future.

During this session, invited speakers will share:

- Their academic and professional journeys
- How they positioned themselves in the market
- Current industry trends in software and hardware
- What companies are truly working on today
- Advice for students who are undecided about their career path

Take the next step in your professional journey by understanding how software and hardware together drive innovation across industries, and where you can fit into that landscape.
