The IEEE SIGHT ENIS Student Branch, in collaboration with the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Chapter, successfully organized a three-session bootcamp focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and technology to address environmental challenges and strengthen community resilience.

This bootcamp aimed to equip participants with innovative knowledge and practical insights on how AI-driven solutions can support sustainable development and humanitarian impact.

Session 1: AI for Climate and Community Resilience

Speaker: Amira Ouerfelli
Participants explored how AI can contribute to climate action through environmental risk prediction, disaster management, and enhancing community preparedness against climate change impacts.

Session 2: Ocean and Marine Ecosystem Protection

Speaker: Rayen Dellai
This session emphasized the importance of preserving marine biodiversity and presented technological solutions for monitoring ocean pollution, protecting marine ecosystems, and promoting sustainable practices.

Session 3: AI for Resilient Smart Cities – Crisis Transportation and Infrastructure

Speaker: Mohamed Dhia Bechikh
The final session focused on AI-powered smart city solutions, particularly in crisis management, transportation optimization, and resilient infrastructure systems.

The bootcamp fostered an interactive and engaging environment, encouraging discussions, knowledge exchange, and innovative thinking toward building more sustainable and resilient communities.
