Securing Your Operational Network
As electrical systems and operational technology (OT) advance in digitalization and connectivity, not only do cybersecurity risks grow, but safety concerns also become more prominent. This presentation will explore methods for assessing OT environments and applying practical cybersecurity and safety measures—guided by the latest codes and standards—to safeguard uptime, operational integrity, and personnel protection.
Biography:
Mr. Long is a United States Navy Veteran and a certified Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) at Eaton Corporation. With over 7 years of experience securing Operational Technology (OT) systems and networks, Mr. Long has proficiency in building and maintaining secure digital environments. His areas of expertise span across various critical sectors, including electrical infrastructure and power generation.
