The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI and Machine Learning: Transforming Multidisciplinary
Research and Innovation” is designed to equip faculty members, researchers, and academicians with

and Machine Learning (ML). The programme aims to bridge the gap between theoretical foundations and
real-world research applications across multiple disciplines.
This FDP focuses on how AI and ML are revolutionizing research and innovation in diverse fields such as
engineering, healthcare, agriculture, management, social sciences, education, and smart systems.

Dynamic Spectrum Access for 5G and Next Generations
The session aims to provide an understanding of dynamic spectrum access techniques and their importance in modern wireless communication systems. With the rapid growth of wireless devices and data traffic, efficient spectrum utilization has become a critical challenge for next-generation networks. Dynamic spectrum access enables intelligent sharing and allocation of radio spectrum to improve network efficiency and support high-speed communication in 5G and future wireless technologies.
The lecture will discuss key concepts, recent advancements, and practical applications of spectrum management in next-generation wireless networks. The session will also highlight the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cognitive radio in optimizing spectrum usage.
