APEX Lecture Series: Advancements in Antenna and Microwave Technology
The IEEE AP-S Student Branch Chapter at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, is organizing the first lecture under the APEX (Advancements in Propagation and Electromagnetic Exchange) Lecture Series titled “Advancements in Antenna and Microwave.”
The session will feature two technical talks focused on antenna technologies used in modern wireless communication systems. Dr. Nipun Kumar Mishra, Associate Professor at the Department of ECE, GGV, will deliver a lecture titled “Antenna for Modern Communication System,” discussing the role and design considerations of antennas in contemporary communication technologies.
The second lecture, “Understanding Antennas: Microwave to Millimeter Waves,” will be delivered by Dr. Shrawan Kumar Patel, Assistant Professor at the Department of ECE, GGV, covering antenna fundamentals and their applications across microwave and millimeter-wave frequency bands.
This event aims to provide students and IEEE members with insights into modern antenna systems and emerging developments in electromagnetics and propagation.
