Speaker: Prof Ying Xue -  Professor and Deputy Dean 

Prof. Ying Xue received his B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, and the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Birmingham, in 2016. Between 2016 and 2022, he was with the University of Birmingham. He is currently a Professor and Deputy Dean of the School of Electric Power Engineering and the National School of Elite Engineers at the South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China. He is the Vice Chair of CIGRE China NGN and was the Chair of CIGRE UK NGN.
