The IEEE AP-S Lebanon Chapter, in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch at Beirut Arab University, is pleased to host a distinguished talk titled “Wireless Network Planning and Performance Analysis for 5G.”

This virtual session will be delivered by Dr. C. J. Reddy, a globally recognized expert in electromagnetic simulation, antenna systems, and wireless technologies. Dr. Reddy is currently a Siemens Fellow and the President of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S). With decades of experience in computational electromagnetics and wireless communication systems, he has contributed extensively to the development of advanced electromagnetic simulation tools widely used in academia and industry.

In this lecture, Dr. Reddy will explore the fundamental principles and practical methodologies used in planning and optimizing 5G wireless networks. Dr. C. J. Reddy, Siemens Fellow and President of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), will deliver a technical talk on wireless network planning and performance analysis for 5G systems. Biography:

Dr. C. J. Reddy is a Siemens Fellow at Siemens Digital Industries Software and currently serves as the President of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE AP-S). He is widely recognized for his contributions to computational electromagnetics, antenna design, and wireless communication systems.

Dr. Reddy has more than two decades of experience in the development of electromagnetic simulation technologies used for antenna design, wireless systems, radar applications, and electromagnetic compatibility analysis. His work has played an important role in advancing modern electromagnetic simulation tools that are widely used by engineers and researchers in academia and industry.

Throughout his career, Dr. Reddy has contributed extensively to the fields of electromagnetic modeling and wireless communications through technical publications, conference presentations, and professional leadership within IEEE. As President of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, he actively supports the global advancement of antenna and propagation research and promotes collaboration between academia, industry, and professional communities.

Dr. Reddy is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences and IEEE events, where he shares insights on electromagnetic simulation, antenna technologies, and the design of next-generation wireless communication systems including 5G.
